ALL new students must participate in New Student Orientation (NSO).

Fall New Student Orientation will take place on August 23-August 25.

All students are expected to participate in the following programs starting on Friday, August 23.

12:15 pm  NSO Check In (please plan to check in before 12:45 pm)
1:00 pm   Academic Welcome  
2:00 pm   Clock Tower Celebration
3:00 pm   FRED Thrive Campaign (First-Year Students)
4:00 pm   Reed Library Scavenger Hunt (This event will happen in shifts until 8pm. You will be notified of your time timeslot.)

All students must participate in one New Student Orientation Workshop.  There are several to choose from between August 23-25. You only need to select 1 session that best fits for your schedule.

PLEASE NOTE:
The NSO Workshop for Transfer Students Only is on Friday, August 23 at 3:00 p.m.  Transfers will not be required to attend the FRED Thrive Program. Leaders will bring you to Reed Library following the workshop.

The NSO Workshop for First-Year Commuting Students is on Friday, August 23 at 3:00 p.m.  You will not be required to attend the FRED Thrive Program if you select this session. Leaders will bring you to Reed Library following the workshop.  If this time does not work for you, feel free to select a workshop session on August 24 or 25 that fits your schedule.

Please register for an NSO Workshop below by selecting a date between August 23-August 25 on the calendar and then submitting the registration form.  

If you are unable to attend the mandatory orientation, please contact the Office of New Student and Transition Programs for additional instructions at orientation@fredonia.edu  

(Note: All new first-year and transfer students will be assessed a one-time orientation fee on their semester bill.)
